Oct 17 Incorporating Eucalyptus Bark
Title: Incorporating Eucalyptus Bark into an arrangement using the block method.
Description: The block method is grouping of materials into blocks. You can have all the same materials into one block or break them into multiple, however you need to make sure both blocks are large enough to have a visual impact.
Materials: Seeded Eucalyptus, Baby Blue Eucalyptus, Gunni Eucalyptus, Eucalyptus bark, Ornamental Kale, Rose, Cottage Yarrow
A. Gunny eucalyptus leaning towards the left. Bark providing a striking line.
B. Changed direction of gunny eucalyptus to face towards the bark. This reinforces the line.
Bark alters an otherwise circular arrangement. The bark provides a dramatic focal point straight into the middle of the arrangement.
Bark is hanging by small rope ties. The bark might look better against a different colored vase. As it is the bark is washed out, but it is a unique application.
Bark is using a stacking method. It provides a parasol type feel to the arrangement.
The bark is providing a backdrop to call out the roses specifically.
Bark reinforces the mass on the right hand side.
