Seasonal arrangement – Boston

In the modern world many flowers can be obtained year round, when before you could only get certain materials during a specific season. With a seasonal arrangement, you should limit yourself to those materials that would traditionally be available. 
For a seasonal arrangement, you should start by looking at your materials. Then think about a feeling or movement you want to convey. Wind, cold, loneliness. winter, fall, plenty, etc. Combing the two (materials and feeling) to create a unique piece of art.

• Tending more towards imitation rather than creation. ( I am not sure imitation is the right word here.). There are typical aesthetics that results from following the rules from the Sogetsu curriculum. The goal of creating your own at its to integrate the techniques from this curriculum into your own original creation.
