Dried Material Examples

These materials can look great dried.

Magic happens when it dries:

• Bird of paradise leaves
• New Zealand Flax after it has been run through a pasta machine can take on a variety of shapes.
• The remains of the Agapanthus flower after it has gone to seed
• Queen Anne’s Lace (seed pod)
• Dill (gone to seed)
• Ornamental Onion (seed pod) 
• Anise (gone to seed)

• New Zealand Flax (especially when it has been manipulated into woven or other patterns)
• Palm (especially when it has been manipulated)
• Tropical Flowers (heliconia, anthurium)

• Roses (depending on how you dry them you can preserve some of their color)

• Kangaroo paw
• Bottle Brush Protea (and it’s leaves)
• King Protea
